Amigos y Familia is a full-service restaurant serving elevated Mexican cuisine influenced by South American flavours. Since opening in December 2011, it has become a Hardware Lane destination for generous food, agave spirits and warm hospitality.
The three-level venue brings together underground and laneway dining with El Quiote Bar upstairs. Each space has its own atmosphere, united by a shared passion for great food and drinks.

The kitchen can accommodate halal, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan and seafood-free requirements. Please tell the team about allergies or intolerances in advance.
Is your beef and poultry halal certified?
Yes. Beef and poultry are sourced from halal-certified suppliers, with care taken to prevent cross-contamination during cooking.
Are reservations required?
Reservations are strongly recommended, particularly from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Heritage-building restrictions prevent wheelchair access inside the building, but laneway dining is available.
